Day 1 - Arrival in Casablanca
Welcome to Morocco! Begin your journey in Casablanca with a tour of its modern and historical highlights. Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, set dramatically on the Atlantic coast. Take a walk along the Corniche and explore the bustling streets. Enjoy your first taste of Moroccan cuisine in the evening.
Day 2 - Casablanca to Essaouira
Today, drive along the scenic Atlantic coast to the artsy town of Essaouira. Known for its relaxed vibe, Essaouira is famous for its whitewashed medina walls, lively harbor, and expansive beaches. Wander the narrow streets filled with art galleries, artisanal shops, and vibrant souks. Make sure to savor fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants
Day 3 - Essaouira to Imi Ouaddar
Head south along the coast to Imi Ouaddar, a hidden gem for beach lovers near Agadir. Relax on the beach, take a refreshing swim, or simply soak up the sun. For the adventurous, there’s the option to try surfing or explore nearby fishing villages to experience local coastal life.
Day 4 - Imi Ouaddar to Taroudant
Travel inland to Taroudant, often called "Little Marrakech" for its lively souks and historical ambiance. Surrounded by imposing adobe walls, this charming town is less crowded than Marrakech, giving it a more relaxed feel. Visit the souks, famous for silver jewelry and handcrafted items, and wander the picturesque streets filled with history.
Day 5 - Taroudant to Zagora
Venture towards Zagora, the gateway to the Sahara. Pass through lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs along the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river oasis. Upon arrival in Zagora, you’ll be greeted by vast desert landscapes. In the evening, enjoy a magical experience at a desert camp under a starlit sky, complete with a traditional Berber dinner.
Day 6 - Zagora to Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast, head to the renowned Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient kasbah and UNESCO World Heritage site. This village, with its striking clay architecture, has been the backdrop for many famous films. Wander the narrow alleys, learn about its history, and take in the breathtaking views over the surrounding valley.
Day 7 - Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech
Travel to Marrakech, Morocco’s vibrant “Red City.” Dive into the city’s unique atmosphere, visiting landmarks like the iconic Jardin Majorelle, the historic Koutoubia Mosque, and the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Spend your evening exploring the souks, where you’ll find everything from spices and carpets to colorful pottery and textiles.
Day 8 - Return to Casablanca
Bid farewell to Marrakech as you make your way back to Casablanca for your departure. Enjoy some final sightseeing or souvenir shopping in Casablanca if time allows before your journey home.
